Opened in 2003 with more than 1,100 students, Michael G. Wickman Elementary School remains the largest elementary school in the Chino Valley Unified School District.  Nestled between the rolling green Chino Hills State Park and the lovely Los Serranos Golf and Country Club, the school site is often host to local wildlife including hawks and rabbits (after school hours, of course.)  Wickman is the proud home of Winner the Wildcat, a championship track team, internationally recognized Kiva Kids, a full theater troupe, and a diversified collection of eager learners, parents, and staff.  In May of 2008, Michael G. Wickman Elementary School was honored with a California Distinguished School Award.  The CDSA flag flies high above the campus every day.♥

	Wickman's 7th Annual Read a Thon is coming! Every Wildcat get ready for the big week, February 27 to March 2. This event is a great opportunity to show the community how special our campus is when faced with a goal! Let's earn back our trophy by reading more pages-per-child than any other elementary school in CVUSD. Our Read-a-Thon event is also a spectacular fundraiser, so you may want to start brainstorming who will pledge.
